- Spring shipping starts in early April. Succulents must stay above freezing during transit, so I check local forecasts in spring and fall to ensure safe temperatures.
- Starting in April, you can order anytime, but shipping may be delayed until conditions are suitable. If needed, I’ll reserve your plants and contact you- the delay may extend later into April or early May depending on local temperatures.
- Orders over $150: Choose free expedited shipping or 50% off Xpresspost (excludes gift cards and winter protection).
- Plants generally ship bare root and must dry for 1–2 days before packing. I ship Sundays/Monday morning (to avoid weekend delays), so it may take up to a week for your order to ship. Weekly cut-off is generally Saturday at 12pm PST.
- Orders ship from Lower Mainland, BC via Canada Post (expedited or express). Rates are calculated based on weight/destination. Purolator is used if CP is unavailable.
- At checkout, the time in transit indicates how many business days the package will be in transit. If it exceeds 5 business days, you may consider express shipping (as this means it will be more than a week in transit- neither Canada Post or Purolator deliver on weekends).
- Local pickup: available at 194 St / 65 Ave or 91 Ave / 160 St (5 min from Hwy 1, 160 St exit). Pickup orders get an extra 5% off (15% during ❄️winter❄️)—select “local pickup” at checkout, and I’ll contact you. Orders must be picked up within two weeks.
- In fall, check your forecast or contact me before ordering. If freezing temperatures are expected during the time in transit, the winter shipping policy applies (although overnight minimal dips below freezing are usually fine to ship normally).
- If freezing temperatures are in your forecast during shipping, the winter shipping policy applies. During extreme cold, shipping may have to be delayed. I generally do not ship if the forecast is colder than -15C.
- To ship during cold weather, you must add winter protection to your cart. Orders must be delivered within 72 hours ensure the heat pack is still viable, so make sure the estimated time in transit at checkout is 3 business days or less. Orders ship Monday mornings, so the true delivery date will be later. Contact me if you need additional shipping options.
- Winter protection is not required for coastal BC- I will ship when there are no freezing temperatures forecast.
- If you are not home at time of delivery, the order will be held at your local post office for pickup (no doorstep or community mailbox delivery- too risky if temperatures are frigid).
