Agave Gentryi (Cold Hardy)

Tough, stout green agave that can grow large. A magnificent specimen plant.  Grown from seed.

• Pot diameter is 10cm.
• Agave gentryi care: follow cold hardy instructions on the care page if growing outdoors. Can be grown indoors on a very sunny windowsill, but still prefers to spend some of the year outdoors.
• Water needs: low
• Additional notes for this species: If your area gets too cold in winter, you can grow it in a pot and overwinter it in a cool garage by a window, or on a sunny windowsill inside.
• Growth rate: slow
• Cold hardy: yes, to -10C (when dry/decent size).
• Origin: native to mountains in northeastern Mexico.
• Plant will be shipped bare root.  The plant in the photo is the plant you will receive.  Photos are taken in natural sunlight.
