Agave Havardiana (Very Cold Hardy)

Tough, beautiful agave that can grow large. Fierce beauty with blue-white leaves.  Grown from seed.

• Agave havardiana care: follow cold hardy instructions on the care page if growing outdoors. Can be grown indoors on a very sunny windowsill, but still prefers to spend some of the year outdoors.

• Additional notes for this species: if your area gets too cold in winter, you can grow it in a pot and overwinter it in a cool garage by a window, or on a sunny windowsill indside.
• Growth rate: slow
• Cold hardy: yes, to –20C or more (when dry/decent size).
• Origin: native to Texas/Mexico.
